Bill, Clare and I (Chris was at work) went to see "Marley and Me" last night. What a WONDERFUL movie!!!! This is NOT a chick flick--it's a movie about real people (only funnier than most of us), based on a true story (bestselling book by John Grogan), about very nice people--a family which is normal in every way (imagine that!)--except that they own the world's worst dog. It's sweet, hilarious, sad, and moving. Even dog-haters (and you know who you are) will thoroughly enjoy this movie.Saturday, January 10, 2009
Six Thumbs Up!
Bill, Clare and I (Chris was at work) went to see "Marley and Me" last night. What a WONDERFUL movie!!!! This is NOT a chick flick--it's a movie about real people (only funnier than most of us), based on a true story (bestselling book by John Grogan), about very nice people--a family which is normal in every way (imagine that!)--except that they own the world's worst dog. ReplyDeleteWe went to "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" last night. Harry said he thought it was a "masterpiece" and we both thought it deserves several Oscars-inclucing best picture!
I loved seeing the movie with you guys! Didn't you go home and love on your Newton a little bit extra? I highly recommend it to all you out there. Except we should warn you to be ready with tissues for the end.
