Yes, it's nearly three hours long and yes, it's chock-full of grand epic movie cliches, but you need to give yourself the gift of seeing this movie. It's like a 
down-under "Gone With the Wind." I can't remember when I enjoyed a movie so thoroughly. It has something for everyone--majestic scenery, a cattle drive, a war, romance, a little magic, a very satisfying ending and plenty of both suspense and sentiment along the way. I LOVED this movie!
