He was 21. She was 17.
Louis and Shirleen Gappmayer, married June 18, 1952.
They were both 19.
Bill and Linda Reed, married December 22, 1972.
He was 22. She was 19.
Love and happiness. Three beautiful marriages that provided foundations for many beautiful marriages thereafter. Thank you mom for the photo reminders of where our blessings come from. I offer my gratitude and thanks to all the skinny minnies pictured.
ReplyDeleteLaura sent me those photos too. I love the ones of Grandad and Granny when they were young. I can see myself a lot in those early pics of both of them. It's nice to see that I was definitely not adopted, as Sarah liked to tell me when I was little and didn't look like my sisters! You were all so darn cute back then- and of course, are even cuter now!
