I love my life! I finally have time to get involved with all the hobbies, interests, travel and projects that I didn't have time for when I was busy doing the things that I now occasionally miss doing. My traveling buddy and best friend is my eternal companion, Bill. We are joined on the road by our faithful sidekicks, Oso and Newton. I read, I write, I sew, and I infiltrate the lives of my children and grandchildren. I observe and comment on the humor and irony in daily life.

I do really good and then I suddenly start welling up with tears. He was truely an inspiration and the picture of Christ-like love. He will be missed.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am sad that he will no longer be our Prophet here on earth, I just couldn't help but feel so excited that he is being reunited with his sweet wife. It really makes you appreciate the temple marriage covenant and what it really means. I think President Hinckley is one of the few people who can truly say that they left NOTHING undone here on earth. He was an amazing man and a true prophet of God.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it strange that I was a little shocked when President Hinckley passed away even though he was 94 and ailing? We are never quite ready. I, too, am happy when I think of all of the sweet reunions he is experiencing.
