I love my life! I finally have time to get involved with all the hobbies, interests, travel and projects that I didn't have time for when I was busy doing the things that I now occasionally miss doing. My traveling buddy and best friend is my eternal companion, Bill. We are joined on the road by our faithful sidekicks, Oso and Newton. I read, I write, I sew, and I infiltrate the lives of my children and grandchildren. I observe and comment on the humor and irony in daily life.

I just remember how happy Grandma was. She absolutely loved getting dressed up and seeing all of her friends and family. All the little touches like the bouquet and the wedding dress really made it a special event. Both Grandma and Grandpa Gappmayer are such wonderful examples of the love and sacrifice that is necessary for a successful marriage.
