I'M SO EXCITED!!!

I am so pleased to be able to announce that I was one of the three winners of Liza's PIF! In case anyone doesn't know, PIF stands for "Pay It Forward," an activity (event? thing?) that is sweeping through blogdom like a prairie fire. It's simple--you leave a comment on the blog of someone who is hosting a PIF contest. The contest host randomly chooses three winners and gifts them each with something that represents the host's talents or interests. In return, each of those three winners hosts a PIF contest on their own blogs and they each randomly choose three winners. And so on and so on...
Just a few rules:
1. Please include your name in your comment and tell me a little about yourself. (Since my normal comments are limited to just Liza and Emily it may be hard to surprise me with new information.) I welcome all comments--friends, strangers, relatives, recent PIF winners, etc. BUT you need to have your own blog in order to Pay It Forward. So if you don't have one, get started!
2. Please feel free to scroll through my past blogs, but leave your comments on THIS BLOG ONLY to be entered in the drawing.
3. You have until midnight, October 5, to leave a comment. I will draw three names and announce the winners on Saturday, October 6.
4. Prizes will be mailed the Monday following the drawing. There is one possible exception to this rule. My daughter, Sarah, is expecting a baby in three weeks and if she delivers early, everything will be put on hold until I get back from St. George.
Good Luck and Good Commenting!
congrats mom!! I was so happy you won. I think the recipients of your PIF will be even happier. I don't expect to be included and really have too much going on to host another PIF so I will just say good luck to all who enter your little contest
ReplyDeleteI am entering you because you may be half my commenters! :) But since you just did a PIF you won't have to do it again. If you win you can just sit back and enjoy your reward.
ReplyDeleteIf I do win could I request a CTR cape? Our Primary wants one to try and help Jr primary to be more reverent.
ReplyDeleteI too would love to receive a PIF from you but I feel like I'm always getting PIFs from you as it is (baby booties, blankets, Halloween costumes, etc.) However, you know I'll never turn down more great giveaways.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Anna Butler formerly Anna Waite from Bakersfield, now here in Utah. I'm also a very very new member of the blog world and admittedly due to PIF's. I hear from very reliable sources that you are very talented...so I hope I win.
ReplyDeletePick me! Pick me! I guess there is probably a lot you don't know about me, but I would like for you to know that I have been a blogstalker (is that a word?) of yours via Eliza's blog. I have to say, my favorite post so far is the VERY cute/akward tween/teen picture that you posted of the "kids" on Emily's birthday, so fun to see those! I am aware of your varied and wonderful talents, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be chosen, I just hope I can come up with a talent to PIF if I do happen to win...
ReplyDeleteLinda - I also have it on good authority that I need to win you PIF!! As for something you don't know about me... that would be hard since you did know me through those awkward years!! I will have to give this a little thought.
ReplyDeleteThis is really fun. I hope you pick me so that I can host my own PIF!!! I already have something in mind.
I will admit I check your blog(silently) from time to time after seeing your link on Eliza's. I love how you always proudly display your grandkids' artwork on your blog. That is the mark of a truely proud grandma! You may not remember who I am, but I will never forget Brother Reed. He was the best seminary teacher there ever was! I thoroughly enjoyed his classes and his sense of humor. I just hope that I'm not forgetting something I may have done to humiliate myself in his class.
